Warminster Wedding at Bradley House
Georgina and William Wedding in Warminister at Bradley House
If you have seen any of my blogs, then you’ll know how much I love my adopted home county of Wiltshire. Wiltshire is undeniably one of the most picturesque counties in the UK, offering a fantastic choice of wedding venues, whatever your taste.
When Georgina and William were looking for their ideal wedding, it’s not hard to see why they chose 17th Century stately home, Bradley House. Bradley House is home to the Duke of Somerset and one of the finest wedding venues in Wiltshire. If you are looking for a venue that combines beauty and grandeur, then this is the venue for you.
With accommodation on site, Georgina and her six bridesmaids were able to get ready in luxury. The champagne flowed, as did the laughter. Georgina’s simple and elegant gown, with stunning detail on the back, was perfect in every way. Unsurprisingly, she took everyone’s breath away from her dad’s first look to when she walked down the aisle to William.
One of the great things about getting married at Bradley House is that All Saints’ Church is adjacent to the House, so you can choose a church or civil ceremony to suit you.
Georgina and William’s ceremony was moving, as loved ones gave readings and the couple confirmed their love for each other in front of family and friends. Following a victorious confetti walk, it was time to head towards the house for the reception.
So many friends and family had traveled for the wedding, and while they were enjoying the drinks and canapes, I snuck Georgina and William away for some quick portraits. Some couples can get a little shy when having their portraits done, but with 50 acres of private countryside, we had plenty of options to explore.
Knowing we had some awesome shots, there was plenty of time for the couple to get back to their friends before their 5 star food was served.
After a delicious meal and some hilarious speeches, we were just able to catch the golden hour before sunset. This is my favorite kind of light, it is just perfect for capturing magical portraits that I know will be treasured.
Once the sun had set, it was time to get the party started and even in a floor length gown, Georgina certainly wasn’t going to let her dress get in the way of her moves.
Whether you are planning your entire wedding day at Bradley House or just your reception, I’d love to capture every exciting detail of your big day there so please, get in touch. If you are still undecided, then please check out my other Wiltshire wedding day blogs or get in touch and let me help, either way, I’d love to chat about your plans.
